Alan is a Director at StratX Paris and has over fifteen years of experience in international marketing and sales with a focus on product development and new product launches.
Alan started his career in Madrid, Spain at Campofrío Alimentación, S.A. and managed the marketing for the launch of a new foodservice division. In addition, he worked as a sales representative for Eli Lilly and marketed four key brands in the United States.
Prior to joining StratX in 2006, Alan oversaw the marketing in the launch of two new food companies, the Smithfield Innovation Group of Smithfield Foods and Global Food Innovations, Inc. He has introduced over 30 new products into the North American marketplace through three channels of distribution.
At StratX, Alan has worked with leading pharmaceutical companies in various projects including strategic competitive workshops, worldwide deployment of sales and marketing excellence initiatives, and exploratory research studies. He is an experienced case writer and has also worked extensively on content development and program delivery in the consumer electronics, FMCG, and automotive sectors.
Alan is bilingual (English and Spanish), speaks conversant French, and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He also received a Global MBA in 2002 from Thunderbird, School of Global Management.
